After another successful year at Whithaugh Park in 2023, YCYH will be running our summer camps again in 2024.

The two camps will be taking place on the following dates, with spaces booking up fast alreaady.

XCITE Camp- Sunday 28 July 2024 to Thursday 1 August 2024

XPLORE Camp – Sunday 28 July 2024 to Saturday 3 August 2024

YCYH is a Christian charity based in York whose purpose is to share the good news of Jesus with children and young people by providing summer holiday camps. YCYH will be running two camps this summer at the Rock UK Whithaugh Park residential centre in Scotland, where we have been going for over 20 years. Both camps will include a variety of different activities including swimming, sports, games, craft, songs and some talks, In addition a number of outdoor activities will also be provided and run by staff from Rock UK.

Outdoor activities available will depend on the age of the child, but options could include: abseiling, climbing, kayaking, archery, gorge walking, mountain biking, high ropes, and other options too. For the Xcite Junior Camps, all activities are included in the holiday cost but for the Xplore Senior Camps there may be some additional costs depending on the activities chosen.

Accommodation is provided in Scandinavian style lodges on a beautiful site surrounded by forests, rivers and hills, with plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy God’s amazing creation (as well as the chance to possibly see red squirrels!).

All accommodation, food, and travel from York are included in the holiday cost, as well as some of the additional outdoor activity costs.
