What is York Christian Youth Holidays
YCYH is a Christian charity based in York and runs summer holiday camps for children and young people in years 3 to 11 to share the good news of Jesus. This summer, two camps will be held at Rock UK Whithaugh Park in Scotland, where YCYH has been going for over 20 years.
Camps include swimming, sports, games, crafts, songs, talks, and outdoor activities led by Rock UK staff. Activities vary by age and may include abseiling, climbing, kayaking, archery, gorge walking, and high ropes. Xcite Junior Camps cover all activities in the cost, while Xplore Senior Camps may have extra charges for certain activities.
Accommodation is in Scandinavian-style lodges within a scenic forested site. The cost includes accommodation, food, travel from York, and some outdoor activity fees.
