Terms & ConditionsBooking ProcedureWe cannot accept any bookings unless accompanied by the £50 deposit. We will notify you when your booking has been accepted. On the Senior holidays activities vary in price, and dependent on choice, there may be a small additional cost. Final information, including confirmation of your child's activities will be sent out in late May. Balance of FeesThe remaining balance of fees must be paid by 1st June 2008. Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation of your child's holiday. If you cancel after this date your fees cannot be returned. Payments are welcome on a monthly basis should you wish to spread the cost. CancellationIn the event of any holiday having to be cancelled due to insufficient numbers, or unforeseen circumstances arising beyond our control, we agree to return to you any fees already paid. SafetySpecialist activities only take place under the supervision of fully qualified instructors from activity centres, which are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. Whilst every effort will be made to have qualified staff available, we reserve the right to withdraw any activity if safety standards cannot be guaranteed. All recommended safety equipment is always worn. Participants for water based activities should be able to swim 25m in light clothing. BehaviourIt is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to advise us in advance of any disabilities, social or behavioural problems that their child currently has, or has recently experienced which may affect them or other people during the holiday. We operate a behaviour policy to which all young people must agree before the start of the holidays. Part of this policy includes a strict no smoking policy. Under no circumstances during the holiday should any person be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance, except for medical reasons. In the event of a serious incident we reserve the right to send a child home. This will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make arrangements to collect the child at their own expense. Parents will also be required to pay for any deliberate and wilful damage caused by their child. InsuranceOur holiday insurance covers Public Liability, Personal Accident, Personal Property and Medical Expenses. Further details are available upon request. Data ProtectionWe will hold your details on file, but will not release the information to any third party. Child Protection PolicyWe have a Child Protection Policy which aims to promote good practice by our leaders so that children and young people can safely take part in all our programmes. All leaders are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure through the Criminal Records Bureau. York Christian Youth HolidaysWe are a charitable voluntary organisation, with many years experience of running such holidays, programs and events.
