Prayer Update

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God," Philippians 4:6

Praise: Whithaugh 2008: Thank God for three fantastic weeks at whithaugh this year. Nearly 220 people were involved and the first week of the new junior camp 'Xcite' was a great success. It was great to see God working in the lives of many of these young people, with a number of commitments made to Christ across all the camps. Do pray for these children & young people that they would receive on going support through a local church and youth group. (01/10/08).

Prayer: Whithaugh Park 2008: Bookings are slightly down on last year, mainly due to increased costs of family living. Pray that we would fill the remaining places on all the camps. On the leader front, we still require at least another 3/4 female leaders on Whithaugh 1. (21/06/08) Pray for the final planning, fun, program, safety, behaviour, relationships and that Leaders & Taskforce would be a great team. Pray that many young people will make lasting responses to Christ, and grow in the Christian faith. (21/06/08)

Prayer: Finance: Pray for ongoing financial support from churches/organisations/individuals, to allow us to keep our costs to a minimum. (21/06/08)

Praise: Praise God for two excellent weeks at Whithaugh Park 2007 God answered our prayers in terms of safety, travelling, and the weather didn't spoil our enjoyment of the activities. Most of all, thank God for working in the lives of young people and leaders. (08/08/07)

Prayer: Please continue to pray for of the young people involved in Whithaugh 2007, that they would build their relationships with God over the coming weeks and months following the camps. Particularly pray for those with minimal support networks who may find this difficult. (08/08/07)
