Prayer

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God; that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" 1 John 5:14

Prayer should be the springboard of every Christian ministry. It is vital that we come to God in prayer, and that he has his way, because God's ways are the right ways. God has been gracious to us over a number of years, as we have seen him work powerfully in the lives of young people, not only through the holidays, but through the various other events held throughout the year.

We would like to encourage individuals and groups to support this work through prayer. As we operate an all year round ministry, we have grouped our prayer pointers into three areas.

These are:

> Monthly Prayer: Weekly guide on general prayer, which works on a monthly cycle all year round.

> Prayer Diary: Daily prayer guide, which works on a weekly cycle for the six weeks prior to the holiday, and for the weeks themselves at Whithaugh Park. (Whithaugh 1 - Senior: Saturday 26th July - Saturday 2nd August 2008 & Whithaugh 2 - Senior: Saturday 2nd August - Saturday 9th August 2008) & Whithaugh 3 - Junior: Saturday 2nd August - Thursday 7th August 2008
