As we look back over the years since this life changing ministry began, it has been truly amazing, not only to see so many young people make commitments to the Lord, but to see the impact of them continuing to follow His ways many years later, some now in Christian leadership.

Our mission is simply: "To share the gospel with young people, and to equip them for Christian living". God has laid on our hearts a real passion for young people who have no knowledge of and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, the financial pressure put upon many families has often been the key obstacle to us reaching young people who could benefit from our work.

God has been truly awesome, as we have seen amazing answers to prayer in meeting all our spiritual, practical and financial needs. We keep thanking God for the continued growth we have seen, opening doors for us to build relationships, and share the gospel with more young people.

As a charity, YCYH operates on a small financial balance. With so many monetary demands put upon families today, we purposely keep costs to minimum, allowing more young people the opportunities to be involved in our work. We therefore rely on gifts and donations from churches, organisations and individuals to support our all year round ministry. We also believe that young people, regardless of their financial circumstances, should have equal opportunities to go on our holidays and events. Since 1998 an additional 'Special Fund' has existed to provide extra support for young people from low-income families/single parent families.

As well as your prayers, we rely on financial support to make our work sustainable. Below are a few ideas of how you can contribute, enabling us to reach many more young people.

Gift Aid

YCYH can claim back tax on any UK donation, if you are a tax payer. The process is simple. For every £1 you donate, we can claim 28p from the Inland Revenue. This means that a gift of £10.00 can be turned into £12.80 through the gift aid scheme. All you need to do is fill in the gift aid declaration form below:
